The start of the madness went well...I think. Met a few familiar faces here and there and somehow it made me feel like competition is really great ya...Anyway, Next week is the start of the Enhanced School Experience and I really am worried yet excited. The "what if"s questions start popping out in my head but no matter what, I'll stay true to what I believe in and do whatever I can! Gambatte! Although I've passed the school, I'm not really sure of the culture and atmosphere of the school that I've been assigned with. Hopefully I'll adapt. Haha, I don't sound that optimistic is it? Well, let's just say that I blame it on the layout of the university. It's so freaking confusing and directions are really sparse, I can tell you that!!! It really makes me ashamed of how I took NUS for granted in terms of the signages and all. I mean, I really have to rely on gut feeling on which busstop to alight---that's sad right? Oh well, hopefully it'll get better tomorrow. A full day of talks tomorrow. Heard from a senior ( basically she comes in with an honours degree in geog) that I made friends with on registration day ( let's just say lost souls gather together...yes, I got lost on my first day!) that the talks would be the usual stuff and it would be a tiring boring long day. Hmm, oh well, got used to it already.
Oh and I heard around that out of the 50 honours students who are graduating this year, only 3 got 1st class! Like what?! I thought that batch had a lot of potential 1st class people...and only 3 got it?! Heard also that Geog Thought is hard....don't mean to scare my fellow friends out there...just that according to sources, the content is just not as straight-cut as it is. So do well for that module or should I say modules ya people?! Since, you need to pass it in order to move on. I'm sure you all can do it!
Ok da, I'm off surfing. Haven't been feeling that well lately, It's the flu bug and basically I have just started on the fever and blocked nose stage....sigh, hopefully I don't accidentally fall asleep during class tomorrow. It'll be embarrassing since it'll be in a seminar room. |
